How we handle the information you send us. Last updated 30 July 2026.

Who we are
This website is operated by Limb-It-Less Tree Care, a tree surgery business working across Kent. You can reach us on 01474 612 170 or 07376 826 069.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us through the enquiry form on this site. That is your name and phone number, which are required, and optionally your email address, your town or postcode, the service you are interested in, and whatever you write in the message box.
Our server also records the technical information that any web server records when a form is submitted: your IP address, your browser's user agent string, and the page you submitted from. We keep this only to identify and block automated spam.
Why we use it
To respond to your enquiry, to quote for the work, and to carry out that work if you go ahead. That is the only reason. We do not use your details for marketing, we do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell or share them with anyone for their own purposes.
The lawful basis is legitimate interest: you contacted us asking for a quote, and replying to you is the obvious and expected use of the information you sent.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not turn into work are kept for up to twelve months, so that we can pick up the thread if you come back to us. Where we carry out work, records are kept for six years to meet accounting and insurance obligations.
Who else sees it
Enquiries are stored on the web hosting for this site and emailed to us. That means our web host and our email provider process the information on our behalf. We do not pass it to anyone else unless we are legally required to.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies of its own. It runs no advertising trackers and no third party analytics, and the fonts are served from this website rather than from an external font service. Nothing here follows you around the internet.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it, or object to us holding it at all. Ring either of the numbers above and we will sort it out. There is no charge.
If you are not happy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page and change the date at the top.
