In a garden hemmed in by fences, sheds, conservatories and neighbours, the tree comes apart from the top down. Each section is cut, rigged to a rope and lowered under control rather than dropped.

Safe removal of trees of any size
Taking a tree down is the part of this job with the least room for error. Where there is space to fell in one piece we will, but most garden trees come down in sections, roped and lowered piece by piece so nothing lands where it should not.
Straight felling
Where there is a clear drop zone, felling the whole stem is faster, cheaper and less disruptive. We will always tell you which approach your tree needs and why it changes the price.
Clearing up
Brash goes through the chipper, timber is cut down to manageable lengths, and the ground is raked over before we leave. If you want the logs kept for firewood, say so and we will stack them.
The stump
Removal leaves a stump behind unless you ask for it to be dealt with. Grinding it out at the same visit is usually cheaper than booking it separately.
